Composite Curing Ovens
Composites Curing Ovens:......................................The Possibilities are Endless!
Thermal Industries can manufacture Composite curing ovens from 1 cubic metre up to whatever size you require. Usually built with a temperature range of 40 - 250 deg C with programmable ramp control and designed for a close temperature uniformity throughout the airflow zone.
Most Composites ovens are built with electric heating because of the low end temperature requirements during the early part of the cure cycle, although we can build your oven with direct fired gas heating if required, using our specially developed gas burner.
Many Composites ovens typically require programmable ramp temperature control and Data Logging. You have a choice of single or multi pen Circular, Paper Strip or Digital recorders for recording temperature and vacuum, or Scada systems if preferred. Internal vacuum manifold's are also normally needed.
Your Oven can be manufactured in mild steel or stainless steel, to suit your requirements.
Nadcap (AMS 2750 D) For certification of special products and processes aerospace companies have developed a program called Nadcap to ensure economic and consistent quality. The Aerospace Material Specification 2750 D (AMS 2750 D) describes the pyrometric requirements for industrial ovens which are used for heat treatment processes. Thermal Industries offers industrial ovens which fulfil the requirements of the standard AMS2750 D.
